A Substantial Resource for the Traditional Catholic Faithful who Choose to Remain
After a long and heart-searching discussion at a general parish meeting some month's ago,  the Parochial Church Council decided unanimously to affiliate itself to the "Society of St. Wilfred and St. Hilda."

The members felt that this was by far the best way forward given the general feeling of apprehension over the new proper, legally binding and enforceable, provision in the pipeline to protect those wishing to keep male headship in the sacraments.

They drew the line at supporting the Third Province Movement formally. The Incumbent and Churchwardens favoured this. However many of the congregation wished to retain their links with other churches locally even though differing from them over the way women's ministry should be articulated.

For the meantime, they await news of how the Society will operate and its partnership with Forward in faith.
